Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: October 2026 • Effective for all merchants and storefront owners
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, creating a digital store, or connecting a custom domain to the Ecomm Software Solutions platform ("Ecomm", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our software or hosted services.
2. Merchant Obligations & Acceptable Use
Merchants are solely responsible for the products, pricing, stock accuracy, and customer communication conducted through their respective storefronts.
- You may not use the service to sell counterfeit, hazardous, or illegal goods under Sri Lankan law.
- You must maintain truthful, non-misleading product descriptions and transparent return/exchange terms.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your merchant credentials and two-factor recovery access.
3. Subscription Plans, Billing & Wallet Limits
Our software operates under tiered subscriptions (FREE, BASIC, and PRO) with clearly defined product listing and monthly order limits.
- Plan upgrades are debited from the merchant's verified prepaid wallet balance.
- Exceeding monthly order limits or product thresholds requires upgrading to a higher tier to accept further transactions.
- All subscription fees are non-refundable once credited and consumed.
4. Custom Domains & SSL Certificates
Merchants connecting third-party domains (e.g. .lk, .com) retain full ownership of their domains. Ecomm provides automated edge DNS routing and SSL certificate provisioning without warranty for third-party registrar delays or DNS misconfigurations.
5. AI Copilot & Automated Operations
The AI conversational tool processes natural language requests to update stock, query metrics, and modify listings. While we strive for near-perfect precision, merchants must review automated catalog adjustments to prevent commercial discrepancies.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Ecomm Software Solutions be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from store downtime, courier delays, or payment gateway processor outages.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
